My C9 Challenge 😆💪👍

Hey guys,

So if you have been following me on social media over the last few days you will see that I have been doing the C9 detox and cleanse. Now this was a major challenge for me because like Joey from the programme Friends I LOVE FOOD and My Coffee during the day and My cuppa Tea in the evening too!!!!

So I gave it wellie and went from Day 1 to Day 9 in what I can only say was the fastest 9 days ever! I didn’t have a bit of bother. I wasn’t hungry I wasn’t cranky (Well I don’t think I was not everyone wouldn’t  agree with that statement!) I am full of energy and my skin is glowing.

Now I wasn’t doing the C9 to lose an enormous amount of weight I was simply doing the C9 for a cleanse and detox (god knows I needed it!) but losing 5lbs was a little bonus.

My Day 1 and 2 :

Morning  = 
2Garcina tabs (To help with blood sugar levels)
120 mls of Aloe Ver Yellow Gel (Cleanser for toxins)
1 Therm Tab (To help with energy)
Lots of water

Snack =      
1 Fibre Sachet  (To keep all intact for the 9 days)

Lunch =     
2 Garcinia tabs
120 mls of Aloe Vera Gel
1 Therm Tab
1 Shake (Vanilla )
Lots of Water

Dinner =
2 Garcinia tabs
120mls of Aloe Vera Gel
 Lots of water

Evening = 
120 mls of Aloe Vera Gel
Lots of water.

Days one and two you are to drink 8 glasses of water per day exercise low to medium impact and you can also eat from the list of free fruit and vegetables. Now after day 1 of work and when I got home I was starving and would have ate the leg of the table… Hot water and lemon did the trick and I headed to bed early.. The sleeping pattern wasn’t great before the C9 jurney but Day 1 sleep was amazing I slept like a baby.

My Days 3-9

Morning =  2 Garcinia tabs

                    120 mls of Aloe Vera Gel

                    1 Therm Tab

                    1 Shake

                    Lots of Water

Snack =      Fibre Sachet

Lunch =     2 Garcinia tabs

                     1 Therm Tab

                     1 Shake

                     Lots of Water

Dinner =    2 Garcinia Tabs

                     600 Calorie Meal

                     Lots of Water

Days 3 – 9 You drink 8 glasses of water and you can up the intensity of the exercise if you wish. I didn’t as I wanted to keep the energy I did get out of the c9 for myself as my eating pattern was different to usual so I walked everyday (Brisk walk for 30 mins). Now as I didn’t want to lose too much weight and was doing the detox simply to detox and cleanse I took an extra shake for myself. This was great! I am actually continuing the shakes aftr the detox and adding them to my diet as my 4 o’clock snack.

I would highly recommend the C9 for a cleanse a detox. For anyone wishing to shed some pounds or purely get into the mindset of eating healthy. It gives you a great boost. Gives you a glow and makes you feel energetic and helps you sleep.  I am glad I did it and would definitely do it again.

Tips on how to spruce your shakes:

Orange Shake:

1 Scoop of Vanilla Shake

300 mls of Coconut milk or Almond Milk

2 slices of Orange

Blend in a blender and pour into your shaker cup! Delicious.!

 
Strawberry Shake:

1 scoop of vanilla shake

300 mls of coconut milk/Almond milk

4 strawberries

Blend in a blender and pour into your shaker cup! Delicious.!

Blueberry and Raspberry Shake:

1 scoop of vanilla shake

300 mls of Coconut milk/Almond milk

Small cup of raspberries and blueberries

Blend in a blender and pur into your shaker cup! Delicious.!

Some tips on 500-600 Cal meals:

Noodle stir fry:

Egg noodles from tesco (From the Fridge area) ½ a bag, done in a wok with coconut oil. (254 Cals)

Chop up loads of the free veg you can eat on the C9 plan and mix with noodles. (Free)

1 Chicken Fillet grilled and mixed with stir fry (200)

1 boiled egg (100 cals)

Cheese omelette with Mushrooms and Ham:

3 eggs (300 cals)

Small bit of milk and butter  (50 cals)

Cheddar cheese grated (100 cals)

1 slice of ham (120 cals)

2 mushrooms (about 20 – cals)

Noodlea and all the greens with Mediterranean herb sausage

1/2 bag of Noodles (254cals)

All the free greens

1.5 Mediterranean Herb sausage (254 Cals per sausage)
